Mission Statment

The Friends’ mission statement is to exist to support and
promote the Lanark Public Library as a cultural, educational,
and recreational asset to the Lanark community
in order to enhance the quality of life of its citizens.

Friends support the library by helping fund special
materials, programs and activities. Popular fundraisers
include Pies on the Porch, The Holiday Shop Hop, and
Twice Sold Tales-the FLPL used books and more store.

Friends’ can be spotted wearing their member shirts at
used book sales, summer kids reading programs, and
the Farmers’ Market. We continue to seek more good
people. After all, even libraries can never have too many
friends!
